2007 Forage Based Buck Test
Oklahoma State University Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service and the Kerr Center for
Sustainable Agriculture conducted a Forage Based Buck Test this summer. The purpose of
the test was to assess individual animals (and their sires and dams) which carry genetic
traits important for commercial meat goat production.
